Double recognition at the Foodservice Cateys 2026

We’re incredibly proud to share that Houston & Hawkes has been shortlisted for not one, but two Foodservice Cateys 2026 awards.

Our Marketing Director, Josh Key, has been named as a finalist for Healthy Eating Champion, while Houston & Hawkes has also been shortlisted for the CSER Award.

The Foodservice Cateys celebrate the individuals, teams and businesses helping to shape the future of the foodservice industry, so to receive recognition across two categories is a huge moment for us.

Healthy Eating Champion

Josh’s nomination recognises his work in bringing healthy eating to life in a way that feels engaging, accessible and genuinely appealing.

From seasonal campaigns and wellbeing-led recipes to supplier stories, events and on-site activations, the focus has always been on making better choices feel exciting rather than restrictive.

Through initiatives including the Wellbeing Collective, Grower’s Guide and our wider programme of food education and engagement, Josh has helped create a clear and consistent narrative around balanced eating, seasonality, provenance and positive food choices.

It is an approach built around collaboration, working closely with our chefs, suppliers, clients and site teams to turn ideas into experiences that customers can see, taste and enjoy.

CSER Award

Our shortlisting for the CSER Award reflects the wider commitment across Houston & Hawkes to operating as a responsible, progressive and purpose-led business.

Environmental and social responsibility are embedded in how we work, from reducing our environmental impact and supporting responsible sourcing to investing in our people, communities and long-term partnerships.

As a B Corp certified business, we continue to challenge ourselves to improve, measure our impact and make decisions that create value beyond the bottom line.

This recognition belongs to the teams across our business who bring that commitment to life every day, whether through reducing waste, celebrating seasonal produce, supporting responsible suppliers or creating healthier and more sustainable menus.

A proud moment for the whole team

To be recognised alongside so many brilliant people and businesses across the industry is something we are hugely proud of.

Both shortlist places reflect the passion, creativity and hard work of our teams, as well as the support of our clients, customers and supplier partners.

Congratulations to everyone shortlisted, and thank you to The Caterer and the Foodservice Cateys for the recognition.

We look forward to celebrating with the industry at the awards later this year.
